We formed a company which was called
Numberman Productions Inc. This allowed us to become independent from
TCU, which protected both our interest, and TCU's from any legal
presidings. The company was founded by Mike Austin and Kent Chapline.
We setup an office space in the Radio/TV/Film Dept. Here we were able
to make calls to recruit sponsors. The office hours were basically 9
to 5, but we would work as late as 11pm some nights.
The Class
The Radio/TV/Film Dept allowed us to
setup a special problems class, where the students were able to
receive class credit for their help on the show.
Students were able to receive credit
for Sales, Writers, Set Design, Talent Coordination, Producers, and
Technical Crew.
This Special Problems Class was
later added to TCU's Radio/TV/Film Classes.
After the company was setup and the
students signed up for the class, we were ready to find our sponsors
and tape the show. Some of the sponsors that we found were American
Airlines, Classic Touch Limousine Services, American Hairlines,
Riverpark Grill, and The Worthington Hotel.
