"Headed for the spotlight" as Silver Dose's debut album, Slander opens letting listeners know they are about to experience something unique. Produced by the multi gold and platinum winning Jack Miele, Slander delivers a mix of diverse, forward-thinking hard rock/alternative songs based on different rhythms such as latin music, hip hop, funk and more, wrapped into drop tuned guitar riffs and catchy melodic hooks.
Silver Dose is based in New Orleans Metropolitan, though it’s music goes far beyond any lines or borders. The trio's roster boasts the Brazilian musician Guzz Andrade on lead vocals and guitar, and from Southern Louisiana, Jordan Tamplain on bass and backing vocals and Rikki Frazier on drums. Formed in 2019 after Guzz moved to USA (4700 miles from his hometown as expressed in a song), Silver Dose has been an active part of the music scene and has shared the stage with acts such as Trapt, Sister Hazel, Lillian Axe and Liliac.
Formed in 2017, BackReal was originally a trio of longtime church musicians who had a desire to write and perform rock n' roll music. After a couple years of lineup changes, writing, and finding their sound, BackReal released their self-titled EP in the spring of 2019. The 4 song EP captured their rock and alternative inspirations from the '90s & 2000s while still maintaining faith-based messaging. According to guitarist/vocalist Andrew Vincent, "We created an album that was too 'rock' for contemporary praise, but too faith-based for contemporary rock n' roll. Nevertheless, we're proud of the record. It's a genuine snapshot of who we were at the time."
In fall 2019, BackReal started playing live shows in the New Orleans metropolitan area. In January 2020, drummer Jay Romain played his first BackReal show on 10 days notice and has been with the band ever since. In the spring of 2020, BackReal had to halt live performances when COVID-19 closed the doors to all of the music venues in New Orleans. While BackReal waited for venues to open, they decided to write and release three singles in 2020-2021; "The Champion", "Pennies and the Return", and "Give Me a Name". In 2021, bassist Danny Eschete joined the band completing the current lineup.
So far, 2022 has been a year of continual live performances with some of the best rock n' roll bands in southeast Louisiana. While BackReal will always play New Orleans shows, they are beginning to book other cities in the southern United States. In the summer of 2022, BackReal released the first two singles from their upcoming EP, "78". The new EP will be released in its entirety in the fall of 2022. "78" represents a maturation of the band both musically and lyrically. While the familiar BackReal sound is still intact, the band has introduced alternative tunings and grungier tones into their new music. In June 2022, "Why do You Live There?" was released as a tribute to all Louisianians who endured losses from Hurricane Ida. In August, "Iconoclast" was released as the final single prior to the release of the complete EP.

Was formed by Chris Flattmann and Darren DiMarco during 2018 under other monarchs . Right before the pandemic they lost their bass player due to musical differences and in April 2019 asked Danny Cook to join. During the transition of Danny joining the drummer had family problems and took off to get things straight at home. That is when Leonard Schmidt step in October of 2020 and the band was formed as it stands today.
Spring Heeled Jax is a down and dirty gutter rock band from New Orleans,Louisiana. The two guitars team up of Chris and Darren have kept to their roots of rock n roll. Digging from their pass influences of 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s rock heroes. Leonard and Danny keep the heavy foundation flowing with with pounding beats and bass lines.
Feeding off the voodoo, gris gris, and haunting feel of the French Quarter and the personal experiences off the streets of New Orleans. They have managed to capture those elements and draw their inspiration from it. Cultivating it into songs from their haunting song of Hotel Jean Lafitte to the tragic life of a misfit drug user of 20 bag to the broken-hearted love of Lullaby.
They have managed to capture the essence of New Orleans life and style of the city.
In August of 2017, Mike Doussan teamed up with Roxy
Bergeron of CSB Roxy Music and Bassist/Producer Charlie
Wooton to record a collection of all new original songs.
Mike and Charlie spent weeks arranging and charting the new tunes
before entering Music Shed Studios in the
Lower Garden District of New Orleans. With drummer Doug
Belote, keyboardist Keiko Komaki, and engineer Ben
Lorio, the group laid down 13 base tracks in two and
half days. This was the foundation for the new record to
be named “Yesterday's Troubles.”
Over the course of the next year, Mike and Charlie
called on some of the finest musicians* in New Orleans
and the surrounding areas to sculpt the final textures
of each track at Ben Lorio's second-story home studio
overlooking historic Magazine Street. GRAMMY winning
engineer Eric Heigle (Arcade Fire, Lost Bayou Ramblers)
was then brought in to mix the record. There was no
other choice but GRAMMY nominated engineer Pete Lyman
(Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, John Prine) for the final
task of mastering at Infrasonic Sound out of Nashville.
“Yesterday's Troubles” will be released May 31, 2019
The guitarists/vocalists Alister Robbins and Jon Lawless first began working together in late 1992 on an ill-fated project that never even got off the ground. However, in early 1993 Robbins and Lawless would find themselves together once agin this time in the established band Equinox alongside drummer Mase Blackwell, bassist Tony Englert, and the late great guitarist/bassist Robert "Grove" Musgrove. Under the song-writing prowress of Robbins and the guitar work of Lawless, Equinox got a firm line-up and soon became one of the biggest bands in Mississippi appearing with established artists such as Collective Soul among other groups. Equinox also received much local airplay as well as consistently selling out of cassette singles of the songs "Low Road" and "She Makes Me High." Following the turn of the Century Y2K--Equinox would morph into the gothic metal band Ravenous w/ Robert "Grove" Musgrove taking on bass duties while Robbins would switch to keyboards for the dreary and foreboding album "Embrace the Dark."
The 2000s would find Robbins and Lawless working together in projects between stints in the acclaimed Age of Rust and a reformed Equinox---finally in late 2011 under the moniker Skeletons of Society Robbins, Lawless, alongside drummer Mase Blackwell and Tony Englert would release much of their work as Age of Rust alongside several tracks from the last Equinox sessions before the death of Robert "Grove" Musgrove. Alister Robbins and Jon Lawless would often find themselves playing acoustic shows around Hattiesburg, MS to much success. Now, in mid-2015 under the name Robbins n Lawless, the duo have taken songs from their history together as well as familiar classics that run the gamut from Marilyn Manson to Jamie Johnson and all stops in between to produce an entertaining package of heartfelt songs with plenty of stories to tell in-between. Keep up with the site for tour dates and news as Robbins n Lawless will eventually become a full band. Until then check out what we have to offer here or check out our complete history at www.anacondaproductions.net
In the summer of 2015 Robbins n Lawless became a full-band with the additions of Donald Malson on Drums/vocals and Donnie Malson on Bass/vocals. First order of business was to produce a 2 hour show for The Last Stand for Liberty event in Laurel, MS where the band endured the intense heat of the day to produce an intense and masterful performance of classic/original material. Their experience and professionalism was evident as their performance was labeled, "one of the best performances ever at Jitter's." In September of 2015 Robbins n Lawless plus the Malsons (RLM...Robbins, Lawless, and Malson) put the "rearview mirror" behind them to begin producing all new material and embarking on live performances in the New Orleans area . . . . .keep on checking back as the story unfolds.......
A little on the band....
Alister Robbins has done vocals on numerous projects over his career including Equinox, Ravenous, Age of Rust, The Shady, Dead Ahead, and Skeletons of Society. His influences range from Metallica to modern and classic country. But in the end Alister lives by the motto: "Do your own thing." Robbins keeps his "family tradition" alive as his father, the late Alton Robinson, was an accomplished gospel vocalist who appeared on vinyl, yes kiddos, vinyl....
Jon Lawless has been playing guitar live since early classical recitals at the University of Southern Mississippi at the age of 13/14, but by the age of 15 Lawless was picking up the rock guitar quite frequently and more often and by the age of 19 was part of the established Equinox. Lawless has also been part of Ravenous, The Shady, Dead Ahead, and Skeletons of Society. Mister Lawless states that, "I am....whatever mood I am in at the time" as Lawless teeters between light hearted songs but also adds a darker edge to the material.
Donald or "Don" Malson has been drumming since his days in New Jersey and just as his cohorts, Robbins n Lawless, has had his share of deals fallen through and let down city as he has been with such artists as Backwoods Revival, Abberation Band, Aftermath, 2nd Hand Smoke, Mercury, The Revival, and 49 South over the years. Malson cites Zepplin, Journey, Pink Floyd, Pat Benetar, Rush, and Styx as his inluences and follows the motto: "Live, Love, and Laugh."
Keeping the low end going is the one and only Donnie Malson (or: Lil' Don, Laidback, D-boy, Skeeter, or Fletch) who brings a funky edge with his Chili Peppers/Primus inspired bass lines. In a short time, Donnie Malson has cut his teeth in bands such as Livelii, The Revival, and 49 South. Originally hailing from Atlantic City, New Jersey, Malson follows the course of "It's just a minor thing." Not much can stop this guy, especially not a broken hand....

RUBEN GOMEZ - Lead Vocals and Backing Vocals - Already an International recording star from Menudo, with a long touring discography joined the band 1991. The band meet Ruben at a local Jersey 7/11 getting a cup of coffee. Not knowing who he was, they asked if he was a singer. He said yes and they invited him to sing at a gig that weekend. ...and that’s how they meet Ruben. They've remained friends every since that day. Ruben's solo career has broadend his musical horizon that has expanded his personal facebook fan base to 75k.
JOHN CRISCI - Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals - A Music Major graduate of Wiilliam Paterson University, NJ, with 10 years of jingle sessions, film sound tracks, producing and engineering. "As a band, we lived for the stage performance." Playing with all the Jersey greats in past bands, such as Ray Gillan of Bandlands, it was a close circle of friendships, musicianship and down right good fun!
JERRY CAPRI - Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals - A Bassist who plays his instrument like a lead guitar with the stage presence of a front man, what a combo. Right out of college radio, already a DJ personality, his charisma captivates the audience to make you wonder what is he going to do next? Never a dull moment...
JON ORTH - Drums, Percussion and Backing Vocals - You’d swear he had 4 legs and hands. His understanding of rhythm counterpoint and song arrangement really held us together. A well rounded session player, knew any style and how to compliment the song. A true showman and friend, plus he,swings a mean hammer.
JOHN SEPUT - Keyboards and Backing Vocals - A technical wizard and also a Music Major graduate of Wiilliam Paterson University. John knew how to pad and embellish the songs. From the tonal changes to complicated chord passages, he had it down. He also had the Rack of GOD! You’d swear the heavens were opening up when he laid into those keys. He could peal the paper off venue walls with one key stroke and make it rain on command! Once he took the stage, you knew KINGS HAREM was law.
BROOMFILLER is Toronto, Canada’s answer to melodic punk rock. Blending melodic vocals, bass lines and rhythmic drumming with a very energetic live show, enables them to easily stand out.
No strangers to touring, the band toured their sophomore album, "Enter the Storm" twice in the US. (Spring U.S. tour - 41 shows in 46 days & Fall U.S. Tour 54 shows in 60 days), while garnering much praise for their indie DIY work ethic and radio play for their single "The Cause" reaching #1 on Pennsylvania's college charts.
"Enter the Storm" followed on the heels of "Watching the girls go bi", which received much success and recognition across Canada, USA & Europe. The video for Decide Inside was in rotation on Much Music, and featured on Toronto's Edge 102. They have toured extensively in Canada since 2002 and in the US since 2004.
BROOMFILLER have been compared to Foo Fighters holding hands with Millencolin and Bracket while sitting on a park bench made by Jawboxx & Husker Du, eating a sandwich made by Bad Religion and Face to Face.
